Re: Extract data from a Program level report
The best way to pull data from a program level report is to export it as a CSV or excel file, use data shuttle to automate transfers, or set up data mesh to keep everything synced. Since reports donβt store data, these methods make sure it stays accessible and up to date.

Re: Extract data from a Program level report
It actually does not matter if the Report you are keeping data from many sheets is a Program / Portfolio or Tasks for your team. Report is always just a set of multiple sheets (can be one of course) filtered for the purpose of the business or what needs to be shown.
I do not think there is an option to automatically convert Report data into sheet again. I think if you want to have data from many sheet in one sheet you shall consider cell linking - if the data is to be dynamic and change automatically (like in reports) or create workflows to copy rows from multiple sheets into one sheet but then the data is disconnected.
Hope it helps.

Re: Can I share a folder within a workspace to someone without having to share the whole workspace?
Dear Smartsheet team,
I'm wondering if Alicia's suggestion has been put in place in Smartsheet now? Thank you.
Is it possible to share one folder within a workspace with someone, without sharing the whole workspace with them? I want them to see only files in their folder, but not everyone else's folders within the workspace.

Re: Sharing a folder in a workspace
scratch that last comment, I realized afterward you cannot create a workspace within a workspace.
I think my only (simple) option will be to create a workspace for each new customer separately. Is there a good way to archive a workspace? I am looking to declutter when a project closes so we don't have a pile up of old project workspaces hanging out there.

Re: How to ignore #DIVIDE BY ZERO in SUM function?
You are getting a blank because of your iferror() function - sum() will throw an error if you have an error in the range it is summing, so it is showing the single space you are calling for.
The only way I know of to fix it is to modify the template so that the formulas in Annual Cost (Original) include an iferror() function directly, so that lines that used to show "#Divide by zero" are now blank. Then you sheet summary will work.

Re: Provide API Access to Upgrade or Downgrade Users under User Subscription Model (USM)
Firmly agreed here, we were recently switched to USM (unfortunately) as well. The "update" has broken our automated processes as well and as a bonus, has given us more work.
Color me surprised that a company acquired by private equity starts providing worse service for more money.
The frustration is doubled because the error message points you to things that don't exist within current API documentation.
"User subscription updates (upgrade/downgrade) cannot be performed through this method. Please use the bulk upgrade/downgrade API"
Contrary to prior history with Smartsheet, this new model feels like a half baked cash grab that wasn't properly planned or executed, which is more or less in line with what we expect from private equity. Hate to see it; we'll definitely be pushing to move away from Smartsheet ASAP.

Re: March Question of the Month - Join the conversation and receive a badge
I'd like to improve my skills as a solution architect to better align people and processes.
Re: March Question of the Month - Join the conversation and receive a badge
Being able to find the information I need from the hundreds of notes I take. AI helps with "taking" the notes, but gleaning from that bounty of facts is an on going quest.

Re: March Question of the Month - Join the conversation and receive a badge
My one skill, making it Smartsheet related, is in the competency of setting up Control Center. I'll be chasing that certification here soon and I'm looking forward to being on the other side of the exam!
